On 17 Oct 2009, my hubby posted something on his facebook status :

Translated :

Last year at this date, my wife was induced waiting for delivery, her feeling at that moment - afraid, but eager to

see the face of our little precious - I could still remember vividly.

A few hours later, she was in great labour pain. I wish I could share her pain, but all I could do was to be with her,

hoping she would know I will forever be by her side.

At midnite 12.14am, my cute little baby girl finally arrived! The pain my wife gone through is wat me as a man can never

understand - being pregnant 10 mths, labour pain, taking care of my little precious day and nite, loving her unconditionly.

A woman could sacrifice everything for us. I juz wanna say thank you. Thank you my dear wife! And thank you mum! Thank

you all women out there! p/s : I love you, my dear. And to my little precious Cynthia (Jia Yun), daddy wishes you

happy birthday in advance!

I should have blog this a mth ago but was too

busy working my ass off trying to earn

lots and lots of money.

I'm sure no one knows this yet, except

afew close frenz and relatives, but I've started

working. Yes, I'm a working mum now!

I'm happy I was offered a great job, but at the same

time, it's sad to say I miss my daughter very much.

My mum is babysitting her now. She only comes

home to sleep with me becoz I reach home

after 8pm. =(

I really love my mum very much. She might

not know this, but I really appreciate

everything she does for me.

Since my MIL couldn't take care of Baby Cynthia

becoz she has lots of other chores to do

(like taking care of her dogs, and her 88 years

old mother - which she hired a maid to do

everything for her ::rolleyes::),

I have no other options but to ask my mum to

babysit my baby for me.

Needless to say, my own parents are the best!

They helped me unconditionly, never once complain.

If I do success in future, I owe it all to them.

I LOVE YOU MUM & DAD!!

Overdue Post (Jul 2009)

I know it's been awhile since I blog, but I'm really busy with lotsa things lately.

House chores, Facebook - esp those mini flash game such as Restaurant City,

Pet Society, Happy Farm etc etc.

And movies!! My eyes were glued to my TV watching Supernatural every nite when my baby

sleeps (Season 1, 2 and 3 DVD collections). I juz finish watching Season 4 via internet

yesterday and I'm already dying for Season 5! Ghosts and demons and vampires.. and not to

mention good looking guyz with sexy butts. ::drooling:: Seriously, could anything get better

than that? xD

Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) & Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester)

I can go on about Sam & Dean all day but not now la. Today I'm gonna blog about my baby

girl! You have no idea how fast she's growing these days.

She can call mama papa and also say some simple words such as mam mam (means she wans to eat).

She can wave goodbye, clap her hands and do lots of other simple gesture. She can even plays

the piano, can you believe it?! (I tried to get her on video playing piano but somehow she juz stops

playing whenever she saw me holding a video camera. Bah~)

However, she can't play a song or really nice tune or melody like that lar, but at least she does it

gracefully okiez? And I'm proud of her!

And oh, she has lots and lots of teeth already! 5 and still counting... =)

Nowadays, I spend more time dressing her up than myself. Shopping is now all about her

things only, especially cute dresses and hair pins! It's really loads of fun, but I hope I'll

have more time for myself in near future. I'm sure my girl wans her mommy to look good too =)

P/S : My hair looks terrible. I'm looking forward to get it straighten asap. If only I have the time =(

NEWSFLASH!

Lately, my MIL has completely changed!

She doesn't control anymore, instead only

comes up with suggestions and is more open

to other's opinions. Goodness, I must have

an angel looking over me!

I know it's nothing to blog about lar but hey,

IT MEANS ALOT TO ME! As if

escaping from hell's gate into paradise.

And I'm not exaggerating okiez? Try to be in

my shoez and you'll understand.

Needless to say, our relationship got even

better now, making me more comfortable being

with her. Not to say our relationship was bad

back then. We do talk and joke around too, but when she

turns into a control freak, things juz turn

sour - at least for me.

Luckily, my hubby is a very considerate person.

But yea, she's still his mother so at times I can

understand how he feels being torn between

me and his mom. Like I said, I can be hell of a b*tch if

I wan to. And I'm not proud of it. So if you're reading

this hubby, I juz wanna thank you for standing up

for baby girl and me when we needed you most.

You're the best and I love you.

Juz My Luck!

Overdue Post (May 2009)

Crap. These two mths had been really tough for me.

Either I am cursed or juz pure luck!

First, I got this stupid eye infection - you know,

the one like pimple on the eyelids with nanah inside? We

chinese usually called it "bak chiam" which also means sore

eyes. It's quite common coz almost

everyone had that stupid infection once in their life, at least!

For me, it was countless time when I was small.

Normally, we'll juz prick the head of that stupid thing when

it turns yellowish green. But hell, mine grows bigger but

doesn't ripe! Since it doesn't ripe, it cannot turn yellowish

green for me to prick. So either I live with

one-big-one-small eyes and being ugly for the rest of my

life, or I go for a small eye operation.

Needless to say, I choose the latter.

See the cut there? It was darn deep leh! 3 cuts and

1 forcep to squeeze that stupid thing out. -_-

Till today, I still have a tiny bump on my left eye

but it's hardly visible. It can only be seen if you watch closely.

3 weeks after the operation

Then, Ned's grandfather juz suddenly past away on

2nd May. It was quite a shock for everyone becoz

he is... err, I mean, WAS very healthy before that.

Since my daughter is still small, I was reluctant to let her

attend the funeral.. but I was left with no choice for

everyone insisted me to bring her along.

So fine. I brought her there. Then, color of her clothes

became a problem. FYI, Baby Cynthia, as a

great-granddaughter, is supposed to wear either pink

or red in chinese custom. But I was very puzzled when

her great-grandmother asked her to wear white and pin

a red cloth instead! So nvm, I respect them as elders,

so I juz follow exactly their rules.

Then, the funeral was over. Everything was back to normal.

As I was about to have a sigh of relieve,

my poor girl falls sick, rite before Mother's Day! Bah~~

With so much sickness which is spreading

nowadays, I almost freak out when Baby Cynthia had fever

and was coughing. Luckily, the doctor said she

was only having sore throat thus the fever and cough.

After taking her medicine, she's feeling so much better

now. Her fever has subside but her cough is still there.

I'm bringing her back to Ho Children Specialist tomorrow

to follow up on her sore throat. Hopefully, she'll

be fully recover by tomorrow. ::finger crossed::

It's soffucating and I might juz fight

back one day!

MIL issues. Yes, again!!

I dun like being told, especially regarding on

how I should take care of my baby.

I know she's an experienced mother and

I HAVE FULL RESPECT FOR HER,

but time changes and so does everything.

She's still living in the 60s where there is no

TV for kids, cannot use baby lotion must use baby

powder, disagree that baby bath is better and

wanted me to use baby soap (can you imagine?!!).

Not to mention she has no idea on wat

the heck baby wipes are! ::rolleyes::

I use baby lotion for my baby from the day she was

born, simply becoz powder could block my girl's nose.

My MIL disagree that baby lotion can be used on babies and

insisted me to use baby powder on Baby Cynthia. But

she finally gave in after it came

out in the newspaper that talc causes cancer. Bah~

And let me tell you ppl about the soap thing....

My MIL claimed that baby soap smells better than

baby bath so he asked my hubby to go get some.

Imagine when she was told baby soap has long been

discontinued! Joke of the year man!

Being less experienced doesn't mean I have

zero knowledge, you know. I signed-up

for baby weekly and I spent hell alot of time

googling and reading stuffs about babies. I even

participate in forums where lots of young

mothers share their experiences and advises!

I wish my MIL could be more open-minded and

let me share my knowledge with her, but

she's the queen control type and thinks she knows

best. She will debate almost everything that

came out from my mouth. Then, she will go on

with her stories on how she raised

her kids decades agooooooo! ::banging-my-head-

on-the-wall::

I guess MIL can sometimes be Monster-IL huh?

She simply dun understand all I wan is to raise my child

my way. She had her chance of being a mother, so please

let me have mine!!

P/S : I forgot to add, she even asked me NOT TO BRING

Baby Cynthia for vaccination. Is she sick or wat?!

Do I Really Need A Title For Every Post?

I was sitting here in front of my laptop thinking for 5 mins and I couldn't find anything relevant

to put. It's driving me crazy!! Was thinking to put "A New Year A New Me" but it sounds so lame. Bah~

Yea.. so... watever.

Anyway, I'm here to tell you ppl some good news. I've slimed down!!!

Muahahahahaha!!!!

I now weigh 50kg - gained 1kg compare to my weight before I was pregnant.

I'm SOOOOOO happy. =P But then those stubborn fats around my arms

and tummy is still there lor. I doubt they will ever go away =(

seeing less of me. Instead, I'll be posting lots & lots of Baby Cynthia photos! Errr.... no promises,

but I'll try my best IF I have the time. Cheers =)
